MEET Dr. Aslam
Dr. Aslam finished his Psychiatry Residency Training in 2000 and completed a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2001. He is Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry.
Dr. Aslam is a skilled, caring and experienced clinician who excels in Evaluation and Treatment of General Psychiatric Disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD , Schizophrenia and Addiction Disorders.
Dr. Aslam started his career as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota school of Medicine and as a Staff Psychiatrist at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Aslam has been in private practice since 2007.
Dr. Aslam has been involved in evaluating and treating patients through telepsychiatry since 2001.
Dr Aslam participates in clinical research and mentors medical students, residents and advanced nurse practitioners.
In addition to overseeing Advanced Psychiatric Care, Dr. Aslam is currently the Chief Medical Officer of a large organization that provides mental health services to Lee county, Florida.
